Endodontics

A constant pain to hot or cold, sweet or sour may indicate an inflammation of the dental nerve.  Endodontics or root canal treatment is performed to save an infected tooth root.  We perform root canal treatments solely using advanced rotary root canal preparation technology.

X-ray diagnostics

X-ray imaging is important in dental diagnosis because teeth and the surrounding structures we observe are mostly made of hard tissues and are well visible on X-rays.

In addition to using state-of-the-art equipment for digital X-rays, we also use sophisticated software that allows us a range of tools with which the diagnosis and reading of x-ray images is precise and accurate.

Dental implants

Dental implants are tooth root replacements made of titanium.  Implants are solutions for replacing one or more missing teeth without the need to grind down adjacent teeth.  Completely edentulous jaws or the replacement of one or more missing teeth can be solved by placing dental implants or with semi-fixed dentures.

Oral surgery

Oral surgery is a branch of dental medicine that deals with surgical procedures on teeth and in the mouth.  In collaboration with other branches of dental medicine, its goal is to keep teeth and the mouth healthy and functional.  It is closely and linked to dental implantology.  All oral surgery procedures are performed using local anesthesia and are completely painless.  Procedures include the extraction of wisdom teeth or other infected teeth, apicoectomy, bone augmentation and bone ridge leveling.

Dental prosthetics is comprised of fixed and removable prostheses used to replace or protect one or more teeth.  In addition to replacing missing teeth, a whole range of mild and moderate tooth imperfections such as color, shape and position can be resolved with prosthetic restorations.

About us

Mate Miloš

Mate Miloš, dr.med.dent

Dr. Miloš was born in Split, where he completed his studies in dental medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, in 2012.  In addition to being an excellent student, he distinguished himself through his commitment to science and as a founder of the dental student magazine “DentiSt”, which earned him the Rector’s Award for Science. He volunteered at dental offices during his studies, and completed his internship in Zagreb at a private dental clinic for periodontics and at Clinical Hospital Dubrava, Department of Oral Surgery, after which, he returned to Split and started his career working at two dental clinics.  To gain further knowledge and experience he went to work in Opatija, at Dental Clinic Jelušić, where he worked until he opened his private practice in Split.

Dr. Miloš is recognized in the dental profession by both colleagues and patients, and has been appointed as a KOL (Key Opinion Leader), lecturer and instructor in the field of restorative dentistry by the world-renowned company 3M ESPE.  He has educated himself at numerous courses both domestic and internationally, of which we highlight Style Italiano Trainer.  He regularly publishes scientific articles and professional papers.

His interest lies in the fields of aesthetic dentistry, prosthetics, implant prosthetics and periodontics.  He actively speaks English and Italian and passively German.
